Mission Statement

The purpose of this society is to bring together people who are interested in genealogy and local history; to acquire and share family information; to preserve and perpetuate the records of our ancestors. To compile, prepare, preserve, and index family records of local interest; to aid members of the community with instructions on beginning genealogy research. To hold regular meetings to work on the Society’s Research & Preservation Projects.

The Society meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Monday of every month @ 6:00 pm in the community room of the Greenup County Public Library.
